● How I see the Law ●
More than rules on paper, it’s the living framework that shapes how we live, work, and treat one another.
As a lawyer, I believe our role is not just to interpret rules—but to help shape systems that govern how people live, trade, and resolve disputes.
Since earning my LL.B (Hons) (First Class) from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014, and being admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2017 (and later the High Court of Sarawak in 2022), my journey has taken me through both private practice and the in-house corridors of one of Malaysia’s leading developers.
My experience in legal operations and advisory roles has shaped a simple belief: it’s not enough to know the law—I must also know the business. I focus on delivering not only legal precision, but commercially sound, practical outcomes.
I believe the future of legal practice isn't limited to traditional courtroom advocacy—it encompasses contracts, compliance, data management, and commercial strategy. The most effective lawyers are those who speak business as fluently as they speak legal, and who embrace technological advancements rather than resist them.
Today, I work at the intersection of corporate & commercial advisory and dispute resolution, helping individuals and organisations navigate conflict, protect their interests, and build agreements that stand the test of time.
And my work is also guided by something deeper. As a Christian, I see law not just as a profession, but as a vocation—an opportunity to reflect justice, mercy, and truth in a world that often forgets them.
I believe justice is not rigid; it is the art of bending without breaking, fighting without forgetting why we fight.
